This site contains information regarding a Systems Portfolio for Inver Hills Community College. This electronic portfolio is a log of the institution’s activities with regard to the nine key processes of the Academic Quality Improvement Project (AQIP), which is an accreditation program of the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of College’s and Schools. The systems portfolio demonstrates the context in which the institution implements each of the nine components, the processes that the college uses in its fulfillment of the components, the results that were achieved from the efforts, and the improvements that have been made and plan to make based on the results. Each section of the portfolio responds to specific questions centered on one of the components which are shown in the right hand column of this page. The electronic portfolio is recognized by the Higher Learning Commission/AQIP as a valid vehicle to display an institution’s accreditation materials. AQIP is assessing the (eFolio Minnesota) Systems Electronic Portfolio Project to determine feasibility for HLC adoption. The written Systems Porfolio is complete. A link to the PDF is below. As of May 31, 2006 12:30 CST, this site matches the final content of the Systems Portfolio. The one remaining task is to assign contact people for the different portions of the portfolio. If you are the contact person, please indicate so in the feedback or contact Cynthia DeVore directly. It is our intention that you may leave comments, corrections, questions, and suggestions on all e-portfolio-based web pages. Web pages that "pop up" with content are not intended to allow feedback. Although this document has an inauguration as of the end of May, it is not a static entity. Additional links will be added as more information is available about planned initiatives. At any time, problems with links should be addressed to Cynthia DeVore Director of Insititutional Effectiveness, Research & Planning Inver Hills Community College cdevore@inverhills.edu (p) 651-450-8573
